The people at POGT will donate £5 to the Firefighters Charity on behalf of every firefighter that enters the competition.

We may also be able to get a discounted entry fee into the competition if a number of us want to enter the same event.

Knebworth Golf Club

As from the 1st March members of the HFRS Golf Society will be able to play at Knebworth Golf Club for a green fee of £20.00. This rate has been organised to allow fro practice rounds leading up to our competition on the 25th March. To book your practice rounds you will need to phone up the General Manager Steve Barret. Tell him you are a member of the golf society & he will book it for you. You may be asked to produce your ID card when paying for your green fee. Happy Practicing

Welwyn Garden City Golf Club

A discounted green fee has been arranged for members of the HFRS Golf Society for the run up to our competition being held there on the 24th Feb 2010. The normal green fee is £35, it has been discounted for us down to £25 per person. If you would like to take advantage of this offer you will need to phone the pro shop to check availability & confirm with the pro that you are Fire Service to receive the discounted rate. Briggens Park Golf Club

Briggens Park Golf Club in Stanstead Abbots are offering members of the Fire Service discounted rates at their course: Weekday, 9 holes £8, 18 Holes £12. Weekend, 9 holes £10, 18 holes £15. To take up this offer you will need to show your ID card at time of payment.

Batchwood Golf Club

Batchwood golf club have recently reviewed their offer to the Fire Service & are now happy to offer us green fees for£8.55 per person. Please note you may be asked to show your ID Cards.
